We have just been informed that Sargent & Berman has won a gold award for excellence in design for the Cunard travel poster series by Graphis, The International Journal of Visual Communications. The posters will appear in the next Graphis Poster Annual 2011.
Our design features Art Deco inspired original illustrations and was inspired by the rich heritage of travel posters that were used to brand ocean travel in the early 20th century. Considered a lost art form, and widely collected, we have successfully revived the classic travel poster as an integral part of Cunard's current global advertising and marketing program.
